Some Canadian trim tags have option codes stamped on them, like L35 or M20. Are there any US plants that also did this?

The only ones I've seen like that are out of the Atlanta plant, but usually it's the code for the drip rail moldings (B80 B90)

Thanks Tom. It is so weird to me that one company could do things so differently, plant to plant.
By the way, we finally got snow here yesterday!

I had Chuck Norris come here, take a deep breath, and blow it all up there just for you :)

Hey hey, don't go tellin' no lies - we only got 4" or so! (I figured 12"+ if Chuck was behind it... unless this was spill over from him aiming at Quebec, in which case good work!)

There can be a lot of little procedural differences between plants. There is no guarantee that there is a consistent way of assembling cars. Each plant has its own staff of manufacturing engineers and they each have their own way of doing things.

This is evidenced in the build sheets as well. No two plants seem to follow the same pattern 100%...

I've seen some with, some without. Pontiac tended to have more. My Buick has none. Wierd how much it varied betwene divisions and factories

I looked at a Norwood-built Camaro recently with a 396 and it had 'L34' stamped on the bottom of the plate. Why couldn't they all be that easy?
