My Dog "Jax" passed away today.

A very sad day today, our Black Lab "Jax" passed away today.
He was such a good boy, he would have been 14 years old on Sept, 5th.

He was the smartest Dog I have ever owned, he was bi-lingual and was the valedictorian of his dog training class.

We will miss our pal "Jax"

Sorry to hear of your loss, Dan. Several years ago I had two Samoyeds that passed away within a couple of months of each other. Two complete opposites, the female was hyper and loving and when she needed to go out she went and came right back in. The male was a loveable and laid back as he could be. He'd go out and just lay in the snow or in the shade of a tree until called back in. Didn't think I'd ever own another dog but my son and his wife had to give up one of their three dogs and we took the youngest, a Pomeranian, and we just love her. It's sad to lose a good friend but joyful when finding another.

I am also sorry for your loss. My pooch died in April 1996 and I vowed never get another dog again. I still miss my Best Friend.
