Will the carburator cleaner soaking solutions strip the color?

I bought some NAPA carburator soaking solution that came in a "gallon" can and has a soaking tray. It says it contains things like alkanes... Will this stuff strip off the greenish anodized finish of my holley carb? I'd prefer it didn't.

Yes.....if you leave it in too long. Read the instructions, it will tell you how long the parts should sit in there.
