These registries are a great thing but they work better is EVERYONE with one of the 'registry type cars submits their info for verification.

I feel more 'validated' now that mine is in the 'LS5' registry.:yahoo:

Absolutely Dan,I just wish all the guy's with the real cars would take the time to register them. It's realy interesting(to me anyway)to see what's left and how they came from the factory.

How about the Canadian built Chevelle L-34 and 454 LS-5?

The LS5 Registry includes those built in Canada, there are 3 in the registry now.

http://macswebs.com/ls5registry/os/os.htm

There are also several Canadian sold LS6s in the LS6 Registry (http://ls6registry.com/os/os.htm) even though they were built in the U.S. but were sold through a Canadian dealer.

The L34 is the SS396, naturally, and I haven't had any request a specific separate registry for them along the same format and style as the other registries. I do have an SS Registry (http://ssregistry.macswebs.com/) that I may revamp to the other registries format and style. It's a good idea so all would have the same look and navigation qualities.

I'll certainly put that on my things to consider list. :thanks:

Dale, how come the 67 68 L78 registry doesn't include the same info as the 69 70 L78 registry? Like the trans/rear info and the original dealership?

No particular reason really. The early registrants were mainly 69 & 70 and with build sheets becoming more prevelant in those years that particular info was easier to assertain. There are only a couple now in 67 & 68 and that info could certainly be added. Good catch, I'll get on it. Do you know the trans type (M20 or M21) on yours and the dealer's name? The POP doesn't identify the specific model trans and while you mentioned the dealer's location, there isn't a dealer's name.

I just noticed it was already updated. Thanks. How did you already find the original dealership city and state????? Dealership was Etscovitz Motors. Now called Valley Auto.

Nice job.

In one of your correspondence you mentioned the city. I'll add the original dealer's name to the matrix.
