If you're wondering about those stars under your group association they're a test for ranking and are subject to change if I can find some nicer images.
Right now there are seven (7) different colored stars based on the number of posts or replies a user makes.
Black star: 1 - 24 posts
Blue star: 25 - 99 posts
Purple star: 100 - 199 posts
Green star: 200 - 499 posts
Red star: 500 - 999 posts
Orange star: 1000 - 1999 posts
Gold star: 2000 or more
Before you get too excited and start making random posts just to change your star color be aware that some forums are not used in post counts to discourage posting just for the sake of posting.
