66 AIM location of front parking brake cable?

I asked over on TC but did not get any definative answers. Was wondering if the front parking brake cable should go above the transmission support cross member or below the cross member? thanks.

If my recollection is correct, it goes ABOVE the cross member, but I'm not 100% sure.

Looking at UPC 5, sheet C1 it looks like the cable goes above the transmission support. Running the cable above the support would also facilitate easier removal of the support when necessary.

Thanks, I looked at that page and couldn't determine. Finally look at a photo of a 66 on the gardner exhaust page. It showed the cable going over the support memeber, so that how it is now.
