FYI...NOS Chevelle fenders and other parts

I have been looking for a very nice used or NOS fender for my 67 SS for months with no luck. Then a friend of a friend told me about a store in Orange, CA (suburb oi LA) that had a pair of NOS 67 Chevelle fenders in their showroom. I made a phone call to confirm and sure enough they said they had what I needed. So I drove up Saturday morning and bought the fender. To my surprise they had NOS fenders, quarter panels, etc. for just about every year Chevelle as well as Impala's and Ford pick up trucks.

Not cheap ($800 for the fender) but if you need a body part for a restoration, this might be a good supplier to remember.

I forgot to mention, the Car Shop also had a variety of other GM NOS parts for all years and models. Just fliping through the pages of the catalog I picked up yesterday, there were hood hinges and springs, headlight bezels, some moldings, etc. You can view their catalog on line and just scroll down to the year and part you or anyone else might be looking for and it will show if it is a GM part or a reproduction part.
