Anyone making build sheets that have your options filled in with the correct GM type/print??

Touchy subject Mike. You might want to elaborate on exactly what your intentions are for the document.

I'm just looking to get a replacement for my 72 non-ss 307 chevelle. No plans on selling it.

I've seen offers to create build sheets for sale on eBay for ridiculous money. They often come close to the font but, if memory serves, plants used line printers to pump out the paperwork and certainly not some dot matrix or laser printer. Google "IBM LINE PRINTER" for some examples of high speed line printers. Second, these vendors often get information wrong on the sheet not realizing that different plants did things a bit differently on how they worded or even listed some options. Third, many of the blanks used are incorrect to start with making them easy to spot. Fourth, the sellers offer to "age" the sheet and even put rust marks from the seat springs to make them look authentic and still charge $200-$400 for them.

If, IF, these sheets were in the $30-$50 range and had a watermark or overprint on them stating something like "REPRODUCTION" or "FOR NOVELTY ONLY" identfying them as what they are I don't think anyone would have a problem with them being sold and displayed with a car. But then that would defeat the real purpose of these fake sheets and cut into profit margins for the sellers now wouldn't it?

If I knew where I could get ahold of the same blanks, I wouldn't have a problem creating/selling them but with some notation on them that they are reproduction and not the real deal.

Absolutely......I'm game, even with an incorrect Font. Similar to seeing checks, a monetary certificate or another document with the word "SAMPLE" on them, but the word "REPRODUCTION" lightly displayed on the build sheet.
